Nathan and Ariana first met on Tinder (proof that swipe-right romances do work!), and here they are&mdash;celebrating a whole decade together.

To mark this milestone, Ariana reached out with a vision: she wanted something soft, romantic, and surrounded by flowers. When she mentioned lavender, I immediately knew the perfect place.

Enter Ayr Lavender Farm&mdash;a little hidden gem nestled not far from the city. It's peaceful, dreamy, and just the kind of spot where time slows down. As we wandered the blooming rows, everything about the session just felt right.

Ariana absolutely glowed in the sea of purple, and Nathan&mdash;calm, steady, and full of quiet love&mdash;was the perfect complement to her vibrant energy. Whether they were laughing together, sharing a quiet moment, or twirling among the flowers, their bond was unmistakable.

Couples session at the Lavendar Farm

Some photo sessions just have a little extra magic, and this one was exactly that. When Eilidh, a budding florist with a heart full of creativity, shared her dream of being photographed with her two daughters surrounded by flowers, I knew I had to find the perfect location. After some searching here in Kitchener/Waterloo, I stumbled upon a dreamy patch of forget-me-nots&mdash;delicate, dainty blooms that seemed to whisper the word "timeless." It felt like the spot had been waiting just for them.
Eilidh was immediately drawn to the location, and it was easy to see why. With her deep love for flowers and a natural eye for beauty, she saw the potential in that soft sea of blue. Her daughters wore the sweetest dresses in shades that harmonized beautifully with the gentle tones of the forget-me-nots, creating a palette that felt both fresh and nostalgic.

From the moment we began shooting, the bond between mother and daughters shone through every frame. There were giggles, hugs, quiet moments of stillness&mdash;each one a snapshot of love, growth, and connection. You could see Eilidh&rsquo;s passion for florals reflected not only in her styling but in the way she embraced this moment in nature with her girls.
This session was more than just a photoshoot; it was a celebration of motherhood, creativity, and the beauty of stopping to appreciate fleeting moments&mdash;just like the short bloom of the forget-me-nots. A Mother-Daughter Session Among the Forget-Me-Nots

When Kate contacted me to capture their families photo session, I was thrilled! They had a specific request &ndash; to have the session in the Elora Gorge, where the kids could explore the water and have a blast. I couldn't wait to see the fun and excitement unfold.
We met on a beautiful summer evening in Elora Gorge, surrounded by lush greenery and the soothing sounds of the water. The kids, bursting with energy, couldn't wait to start exploring. We began the session by capturing some family portraits, taking advantage of the gorgeous scenery. As we made our way along the river, the kids' excitement grew. They started to splash, play, and laugh together, completely carefree. It was incredible to see the bond between them, and I felt grateful to be able to capture these precious moments. Water You Waiting For? The highlight of the session was definitely the water play! It was wonderful to see the kids enjoying themselves so much, and their laughter was infectious. As a photographer, it's moments like these that remind me why I love my job. Capturing the joy, love, and connection within a family is truly special. Throughout the session, it was clear that this family of 5 is built on love, laughter, and adventure. They were completely at ease with each other, and their connection was palpable. As we wrapped up the session, I felt grateful to have been a part of their special day. I couldn't wait to share the photos with them and relive the memories we created together.

As we arrived at Cambridge Mill, I am always struck by the venue's elegance and charm. The perfect backdrop for Anisha's prom photos. We began the session by capturing some stunning portraits, showcasing Anisha's beauty and poise. Her smile could light up an entire room, and I couldn't help but feel inspired by her confidence and enthusiasm.
